16 oz. pkg wide egg noodles, uncooked
1 3/4 lbs lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
26 oz can cream of mushroom soup
12 oz pkg shredded cheddar cheese
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain; set aside. Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, brown beef with onion, green pepper, salt and pepper; drain.
- Combine beef mixture, noodles and soup. Pour into a greased 13″ x 9″ baking pan; top with cheese.
- Bake uncovered, at 325 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serves 6 to 8
Tip: When cooking the noodles make sure the are al dente. If you over cook the noodle it will have a mushy textures.
